Auditions will be held on September 29 and 30 from 6:30 till 8:30 pm.

•

Make sure that you have submitted your signed parental permission form.

•

Auditions will be five minutes in length. Please sign up for as many time slots as characters you intend to read for.

•

You do not and should not have the material memorized, but you should be familiar with it.

•

Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on October 2nd following the Troupe meeting.

•

Students are expected to accept whichever part they are assigned, regardless of whether they auditioned for it.

what to prepare

If you have already prepared a monologue, you may use that for your audition instead of one of the following scenes.

Hecuba:

Scene 3 (pages 9-13) or the monologue of your choice

talthybius:

Scene 4 (pages 17-22) and Scene 5 (pages 45-48)

Cassandra:

Scene 5 (pages 22-26)

Andromeda:

Scene 5 (pages 38-43)

Menelaus:

Scene 5 (pages 50-55)

helen:

Scene 5 (pages 56-64)
