Meet The directorS
A new teacher to Clements High School in 2019, Mr. Mundy received his MFA in Directing for the Theatre from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as the theatre director at Llano High School, Travis High School (Austin ISD), Vines High School (Plano), and Plano East Senior High School. He is excited about the move to Sugar Land and looking forward to collaborating with Clements students.

Although he has been teaching since 1991, Mr. Mundy is serving in his fifth year at Clements High School. Mr. Mundy received his MFA in Directing for the Theatre from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as the theatre director at Llano High School, Travis High School (Austin ISD), Vines High School (Plano), and Plano East Senior High School. A former co-producing artistic director of Rude Mechs in Austin, Mr. Mundy also worked as a creative executive in the film industry.
CHASE HODGESON
Chase Hodgeson is excited to join Clements High School Theatre in his second year of teaching. Chase studied Theatre at Texas State University and Majored in Film Studies at UHD. Chase also has a background in film, radio, and stage. In high school, Chase was deeply involved in Katy High School Theatre. Before becoming a teacher, Chase was a member of the improv team at ComedySportz Houston, Houston’s longest running live show, where he was an improvisor and High School League instructor. Chase toured with children’s theatre companies before becoming the owner and director of Drama Kids of North Fort Bend, teaching after school drama classes.
