Meet The directorS
A new teacher to Clements High School in 2019, Mr. Mundy received his MFA in Directing for the Theatre from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as the theatre director at Llano High School, Travis High School (Austin ISD), Vines High School (Plano), and Plano East Senior High School. He is excited about the move to Sugar Land and looking forward to collaborating with Clements students.

Although he has been teaching since 1991, Mr. Mundy is serving in his eighth year at Clements High School. Mr. Mundy received his MFA in Directing for the Theatre from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as the theatre director at Llano High School, Travis High School (Austin ISD), Vines High School (Plano), and Plano East Senior High School. A former co-producing artistic director of Rude Mechs in Austin, Mr. Mundy also worked as a creative executive in the film industry.
NATHAN UNROE
Mr. Unroe is ecstatic to start at Clements for the 25-26 school year. He is a 6th-year theatre educator and a native Houstonian. Mr. Unroe holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Houston School of Theatre and Dance. He began teaching at Central High (Keller ISD), Bellaire High (Houston ISD), and Sam Rayburn High School (Pasadena ISD). Mr. Unroe is also a co-founder of Theatre 66, a professional company he managed until 2020. In his free time, Mr. Unroe enjoys being with his cat “Phaedra,” and spending time with friends and family.
